Factory Gap Analysis and Audit Readiness
Standphill India conducted a thorough pre-audit inspection at the Sutlej Textiles Bhawanimandi facility — assessing production processes, in-house quality testing infrastructure, raw material inspection systems, and documentation practices against IS 17265:2023 requirements. All compliance gaps were identified, corrective actions were implemented, and the facility was brought to full BIS audit readiness before any application was submitted to BIS.
BIS Application and Documentation
Our team prepared and filed the complete BIS ISI Mark license application under IS 17265:2023 — covering quality manual preparation, process documentation, product and fibre composition specifications, plant and machinery details, in-house laboratory information, and all declarations required under BIS grant of licence criteria. Every document was cross-verified before portal submission to ensure zero rejection or delay.
Product Testing Coordination
Standphill India coordinated testing of yarn and knitted fabric samples from the Bhawanimandi unit at a BIS-recognised laboratory — covering all mandatory parameters under IS 17265:2023 including fibre composition, dimensional stability, tensile strength, colour fastness, pilling resistance, and mass per unit area. The client's team was guided on correct sample preparation and dispatch, and all test parameters were cleared on the first attempt.
BIS Factory Audit Support
Standphill India provided complete on-ground support during the BIS factory inspection at the Bhawanimandi facility — managing document presentation, technical discussions with the BIS officer, and responses to all audit observations. The audit concluded without major non-conformances.
License Grant and Post-License Compliance
Standphill India followed up with BIS until the license 8400****** was officially issued on January 29, 2025. A complete post-license compliance handover was delivered — covering ISI marking on certified yarn and knitted fabric batches, record maintenance obligations, internal audit requirements, and BIS surveillance readiness.
