Factory Gap Analysis and Compliance Assessment
Standphill India conducted a thorough pre-audit inspection at ASES Security's Sahibabad manufacturing facility — assessing the fire door production process, material specifications, fabrication quality controls, door testing infrastructure, and documentation system against IS 3614:2021 requirements. Every gap was identified and a corrective action plan was put in place before the BIS application was filed. For a product like a fire door — where compliance is about life safety — getting the factory genuinely ready before the audit is not optional. It is the only way to do it right.
BIS Application and Documentation
Standphill India prepared the complete BIS ISI Mark license application for ASES Security under IS 3614:2021 — covering fire door product specifications, construction and material details, manufacturing process documentation, plant and machinery information, in-house quality and testing setup, and all required declarations. Every document was verified internally before submission to the BIS portal.
Product Testing Coordination
Standphill India coordinated fire door sample testing at a BIS-recognised testing laboratory for all mandatory IS 3614:2021 parameters — including fire resistance performance under standardised fire test conditions, structural integrity assessment, door leaf and frame construction evaluation, hardware performance, and smoke sealing verification. The client's team was guided on sample preparation and submission, and all test parameters were cleared on the first attempt.
BIS Factory Audit Support and License Grant
Standphill India provided on-ground support throughout the BIS factory inspection at the Sahibabad facility — managing documentation, technical discussion with the BIS officer, and all audit observations. The audit concluded without major non-conformances. Post-audit follow-up was handled by Standphill India until license 8800****** was officially granted on August 2, 2024.
